  1. I would like to learn more about how Adoptees are playing a role in setting policy in this organization. As an adult adoptee myself, iam concerned that the focus is on treating children as a commodity to meet the needs of adults- without regard for the fact that the children grow up, and create families of their own, without connection to their genetic roots.

This practice of demanding that children carry the burden of being severed from their original family trees, and carry on a deceit to satisfy the vanity and cravings of adults has got to stop. our voice mst be heard.

Who are the adoptees and adoptee-rights representatives involved in this taxpayer funded group please?

  2. I am very excited to see what is being done in the lives of these young people. I agree with Jennifer when she said that it is very hard and damaging to the children to be removed from one foster care to another and usually without reason. I would love to see changes when it comes to this. I have worked with foster care kids and I have worked with one child that is in the Foster Youth Internet and I am amazed at the woman she has become. She has overcome so many obstacles and has prove that if she put her mind to it no matter what she has been through you can come out on top. I would also like to see a policy or law put into place that if a child is adopted that the adoptive parent should not be able to put them back into the system because they can’t handle them and on top of that be able to have more foster kids that they adopt. Again thank you for listening and keep up the good work.
